How do I join?

Starting taekwondo couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is to come to our training gym prepared to attend to your first lesson. There are no specific starting dates our courses. Insted you just join to the beginner’s class and advance in time when you have learned the things taught there.

During your first visit to the gym you will get information about all the necessary practical things and also the sing-up sheet. After the sheet is filled you will get the training bill to your e-mail. However you are not commited to continue or pay the bill if you choose not to continue before the bill’s due date. Just remember to inform us if you wish not to continue after the trial period.

Where is the gym?

Our main gym is in Konala in northern Helsinki. The address is Ruosilankuja 3C. It´s very is to come with the car and there also are lots of public transportation choises nearby.

Training groups

Adults (+16)

We have two experience-groups for adults, beginners and advanced. Join the beginner group if you are first-timer or have a little experience (less than one year) and advanced if you have longer experience in taekwondo.

Youth (10-15)

There are three levels, beginners, intermediate and advanced. Join the beginner group if you are first timer or have a little experience (less than one year) and intermediate or advanced if you have longer experience in taekwondo. All groups train taekwondo and develop basic athletic skills.

Children (7-9)

There are two levels, beginners and advanced. Join the beginner group if you are first timer or have a little experience (less than one year) and intermediate or advanced if you have longer experience in taekwondo. All groups train basic athletic skills, train taekwondo and play games. The most important thing is to have fun in a safe way.

Children (3-6)

There are two age groups, 3-4 and 5-6.  Both groups learn basic skills, play a lot of games and train some taekwondo. The important thing is enjoy physical activities and learning the very basic skills. The groups provide an excellent base for learning any sport.

Competition training / fighting

We have beginners foghting group for those interested in the sport but not neccesarely competition and advanced group for high-level training. The best trainers in Finland give training to people interested in winning in competitions or at least winning themselves.

Competition training / forms

We have beginners groups for those beginning to train taekwondo forms and advanced group for high-level training. Currently the national head-coach of forms is in charge of the advanced group.

Physical training

We have many different kinds of physical training lessons each week varying from stretching to all-around bodyweight training.
